With modern monitoring equipment and in-house imaging facilities such as X-Ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy, we ensure the best possible care for your beloved pets.

Founded by Dr. Phil Knight and later taken over by Dr. David Amos, Gunnedah Veterinary Hospital has a rich history of providing professional and compassionate animal care. Our dedicated team, led by veterinarians Dr. Chelsea Mitchell and Dr. Trish Whillock, along with a skilled staff of veterinary nurses and administrators, is committed to upholding the legacy of excellence in veterinary services. Whether it’s a routine check-up or an emergency situation, our experienced team is always ready to provide the highest level of care for your furry friends.

Under the new ownership of Dr. Chelsea Mitchell, a Gunnedah native, and her husband Jamie, Gunnedah Veterinary Hospital continues to be a trusted resource for pet owners in Northern NSW. With a growing team of 17 staff members, our clinic remains dedicated to putting our love for pets and their owners into everything we do.
