Detailed Information

The Hawkesbury Dog Agility Club (HDAC) is a well-established dog training organization located at the Hawkesbury Showground in Clarendon. Since its inception in 1998, HDAC has been dedicated to providing top-notch agility training classes to dog owners of all levels, from beginners to competition enthusiasts. As a non-profit entity, HDAC operates on a volunteer basis and is affiliated with Dogs NSW, ensuring high standards of training and care for all participating dogs.

At HDAC, we pride ourselves on our inclusive approach to agility training, welcoming dogs of all breeds, sizes, and speeds. Our philosophy revolves around positive reinforcement and reward-based training methods, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for both dogs and their owners. In addition to regular training classes, HDAC hosts Dogs NSW approved Agility trials, fundraising events, and educational demonstrations aimed at promoting responsible dog ownership within the community.

In alignment with our commitment to reconciliation, HDAC acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate, the Darug people. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. With a focus on skill development, camaraderie, and fun, the Hawkesbury Dog Agility Club stands as a beacon of excellence in the realm of dog training and agility sports.
