Atlantis Cat Rescue is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to caring for, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and kittens in need of a ‘furever home’. Established in 2020, Atlantis has grown from its humble beginnings in Craigieburn to become a much-needed service that focuses on cats’ and kittens’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. We operate with the help of foster carers, volunteers, and the generosity of our donors.
Our cats and kittens are kept in foster care homes, where they are nurtured in a loving environment to ensure they are house-trained and ready for a lifetime of play, cuddles, and companionship. Atlantis Cat Rescue takes in cats and kittens from council pounds or surrendered by owners who are no longer able to care for them. We believe in never euthanizing a cat or kitten who is capable of being rehomed, no matter how long it takes, and we provide them with the necessary care, including veterinary treatment and daily essentials.
Atlantis Cat Rescue not only focuses on rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens but also advocates for improvements in their treatment, educates the community about cat welfare, and seeks innovative ways to support feline welfare in the future. We rely on the support of our community through volunteering, fundraising, and donations to continue our mission of providing a second chance to these lovable furry friends in need.
