 Man's oldest and best loved Pet, the humble pooch comes in many shapes and sizes, from handbag dwelling toy dogs, to the Mastiff and St Bernard's the males of which are are heavier than most humans.

The many breeds of dog differ wildly in more than just size, the differ in temperament, muscle mass, fur length, required activity, intelligence, obedience, price, colour..... even smell.  Its is this huge diversity and their pack loyalty, that makes dogs so popular as pets.
