Second only to the dog in popularity as a pet, cats make great pets. Whilst dog people will claim dogs as the most loyal of animals, cats are usually just as loyal. Dogs live by the code of loyalty to the pack, whilst cats live by the code of loyalty to their food source. So, if you feed them, they will stay. No fence required. So which animal is more loyal then?
Cats interact with humans on a totally different level than just placing humans as part of their pack. For starters, cats tend not to have pack and don't exhibit pack behaviour. Cats don't communicate with each other by meowing, this is a strictly cat to human thing.
