Dover Gardens Kennel & Obedience Club Inc. is a well-established dog club that offers a wide range of training classes in Obedience, Rally, Scent Work, and Flyball. From Puppy Kindergarten to advanced competition levels, our club caters to dogs of all ages and skill levels. Our dedicated members participate in various dog-related sports and activities, both individually and as part of team events, bringing pride and joy to the Dover community.
Founded in 1969, Dover Gardens Kennel & Obedience Club Inc. has been serving the local and wider canine community for over fifty years. Located at the Mitchell Park Sports grounds for the past two decades, our club recently unveiled new clubrooms in July 2022, equipped with updated facilities for an enhanced training experience. We are grateful for the continuous support of the Marion City Council, allowing us to continue our mission of promoting responsible dog ownership and educating owners on understanding dog behavior.
Our volunteer committee members and instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise in dog training, emphasizing the importance of meeting dogs’ needs and fostering positive relationships between owners and their pets. With regular training classes, annual Obedience competitions, and Mock trials, Dover Gardens Kennel & Obedience Club Inc. remains committed to upholding the highest standards of canine education and community engagement.
