Bombay Cat

The bombay cat was first bred into existence in  1958 when a breeder , Canadian Horse from Kentucky deliberately bred an american shorthair with a burmese, with the idea to create a domesticate cat , Australian Association of Pet Dog Breeders that resembled a wild panther. The offspring of this breeding did in fact resemble the Black leopard of India. The idea for the name Bombay came from the Indian city of Bombay (now Mumbai).

Characteristics
