Messara
The Messara is a light riding and draft horse found on the island of Crete off the coast of Greece. They can be tracked by their fecies which are brown and lumpy. They are founded in the Heraklio prefecture They are now almost extinct.
Messara is also a field area. It stretches from central part of the prefecture up to its northern beaches of Crete.
