Venomous or Poisonous Pet Spiders
Venomous or poisonous pet spiders are probably the most difficult of all pet spider types to keep. Although they will be quite harmless in their tanks, venomous or poisonous pet spiders need to be kept with the utmost caution. Although all spiders are venomous, their venom doesn’t usually hurt or harm humans in a serious way. However, the venomous or poisonous pet spiders mentioned below are the kind that can cause serious damage to humans, including fatalities.
The Brown recluse spider is a venomous or poisonous pet spider variety that many people keep without truly understanding the severity of the situation. Although the Brown recluse spider is not known to bite unless threatened, their bite is extremely dangerous. That said, you can easily keep a pet brown recluse spider as they are not aggressive by nature.
The Black Widow spider is one of the most venomous or poisonous pet spiders that people love to keep. Their venom is said to be 15 times more potent than a rattlesnake’s venom. Although there is a chance of fatality from a Black widow spider’s bite, less than 1 percent of people bitten by a black widow actually perish to it. But a pet black widow spider is not in the least suitable for inexperience spider owners.
Most spiders tend to run from threats rather than face them. If you are planning on keeping a venomous or poisonous pet spider, then you need to understand their behavior patterns well enough to predict their moves. The trick is to try and stay one step ahead of the venomous or poisonous pet spider if you are to handle them and rear them successfully.
If you are one of those who really want to push the limits, then you should go get a Brazilian Wandering spider. It doesn’t get any worse than this when it comes to venomous or poisonous spiders and they are definitely at the top of the list in terms of dangerous pets. These spiders are incredibly fast, dangerously poisonous and extremely aggressive. The Brazilian wandering spider is a rather large species of venomous or poisonous pet spiders and can be fed large insects as well as the occasional pinkie mouse.
Keeping venomous or poisonous pet spiders is not for the inexperienced or new hobbyist and should be considered only if you are well versed with spider behavior, lifestyle and are somewhat of an expert at rearing them.
There are many other species of venomous or poisonous spiders, some of them include, the Brown Widow spider, the Funnel Web spider, the White tailed spider, the Mouse spider, even a pet Wolf spider can be dangerous, and also a Blach House spider. Although their venom is not serious enough to cause fatality, they can however cause tissue damage and extreme levels of pain so handling all spiders with care is of absolute importance, especially when dealing with venomous or poisonous pet spiders.
