Horses - are they pets or livestock? The answer of course is both or neither. You may have a pet horse, who will come at your call, or you may have a horse that is used only for mustering cattle. Other horses are used in show jumping, or other horse sports such as rodeo work or racing. Are these animals pets? In some cases yes, in some cases no.
