Venue: ACT Companion Dog Club Participant Cost: Join the ACT Companion Dog Club and start training with us. See our website at www.actcdc.org.au for training times, days and joining costs. Participant Website: http://www.actcdc.org.au/about/payment_fees.html Primary phone: (02) 6295 7764 CDC teaches all levels of obedience whether you just want a well behaved pet or would like to trial competitively. All classes are taught using motivational techniques - see our training principles page. Our basic classes start with Beginners and then progress to Intermediate and Advanced. Dogs then proceed to our Transition level that starts progressing the training and challenging the handler and the dog. It is after this class that the handler can make a choice to pursue competitive Obedience training (Novice, Graduate, Open and Utility) or to proceed down our Companion stream (Primary and Secondary). Both choices allow you to further your dog's training and are enjoyable for both dog and handler … and you can swap between them if so desired
